LONDON, ON – Wind Mobile officially launched in London on Tuesday, continuing its push into communities across Ontario.
To promote its services, Wind pledged to give a $10,000 grant to one organization or charity in London in support of a project that brings positive change to the community. Local individuals, organizations and charities care encouraged to nominate projects for the grant before January 13, 2012.
“I’m proud that one of the core values we always prioritize at Wind is our role within the community and that is no different here in London,” said chairman and CEO Anthony Lacavera, in the announcement. “The WINDthanks Grant allows us to bring positive change directly to the community and has the added bonus of giving Londoners the opportunity to let us know exactly what would benefit their community most.”
Wind also confirmed plans to expand to Halifax, Winnipeg and Regina in 2012.
