WildBrain to produce new teen drama Finding Her Edge for Netflix and Family Channel

Kids and family entertainment company WildBrain announced Monday it is teaming up with Netflix and Family Channel to produce the new teen drama Finding Her Edge, set in the high-stakes world of competitive figure skating. Scheduled to begin filming in February 2025, the eight-episode, live-action drama is based on best-selling author Jennifer Iacopelli’s novel of the same name and inspired by Jane Austen’s Persuasion, according to a WildBrain press release. Jeff Norton, award-winning Canadian author and executive producer, is showrunner for Finding Her Edge, which was commissioned in Canada by WildBrain’s Family Channel.
