
HALIFAX – Kids content maker Wildbrain reported solid growth in the second quarter of fiscal 2020, ended December 31, 2019.
Revenue grew 4% to $122.1 million in the quarter and 6% to $234.4 million in the first half of the year. Adjusted EBITDA was $25.6 million in the quarter compared to $22 million in Q2 2019. Adjusted first-half EBITDA of $45.2 million was 15% higher than the first half of the prior year.
Net loss came in at $2.3 million, a big improvement over the loss of $17.9 million in Q2 2019.
The company also reported its YouTube channel WildBrain Spark views grew 36% to over 9.9 billion in Q2 2020 51% to 22 billion views in H1 2020.
