TORONTO – William F. White International’s Dan St. Amour will be retiring in May after nearly 23 years with the company.

St. Amour, (pictured), began his career with Whites Toronto in 1994 as a package truck driver and in 2001 was named commercials manager, a position he held for nearly a decade.  In 2011, he was named general manager of Whites Toronto, where he oversaw daily operations, and was promoted to the role of vice-president, commercial production services in 2013.

The company said St. Amour’s other notable achievements include the 2009 launch of Whites Interactive, an initiative which helped the company earn additional trust and respect from emerging filmmakers through the creation of an affordable, portable and efficient production vehicle.  In 2013, he spearheaded the launch of Whites’ mini-mobile package truck, harnessing the latest in cutting-edge technology for mid-range shoots.

St. Amour also helped Whites make its foray into Northern Ontario’s burgeoning production sector with the 2014 launch of Whites Sudbury,  and that same year, was responsible for the successful test and launch of Whites’ new high-speed package truck, revolutionizing the company’s fleet of commercial package trucks.

Amour will officially retire on May 27th.

"On behalf of everyone here at Whites, I want to express my appreciation for Dan’s years of loyal service to our great company,” said Comweb Corp./Whites’ chairman and CEO Paul Bronfman, in the announcement.  “He is a first-rate leader who, throughout his 23 years of exemplary service, spearheaded some of our most successful endeavors.  A more committed, passionate and caring employee you will not find.  On a personal and professional level, I will miss Dan dearly.”
