BURLINGTON – Communications equipment supplier White Radio announced this week it has signed a Canadian distribution agreement with Asoka USA Corporation, a powerline communications developer and manufacturer.
Asoka’s portfolio of powerline network solutions is aimed at Internet service providers and system integrators across Canada.

"Their product roadmap is especially exciting, and we look forward to using these technologies in providing solutions to all four of our distinct vertical markets: audio video, telecom, wireless TDM and communications."
Asoka’s gear is designed to extend IP communications over existing electrical wiring, and works for various applications, such as high-speed Internet access, Voice over IP, as well as audio and video streaming, The company has networking systems and devices ranging from residential broadband adapters to commercial-grade network switches as well as gateways for multi-dwellings and small-to-medium sized businesses.
