Wendy McKernan named VP of Thunderbird Entertainment’s factual division

VANCOUVER – Thunderbird Entertainment has promoted Wendy McKernan to the role of vice-president at the company’s factual division, Great Pacific Media.

McKernan has been with the company since 2012, most recently as supervising producer, and her background includes work on more than 25 productions, including the Discovery Canada series’ Highway Thru Hell, Heavy Rescue: 401 and Airshow.

In her new role, she will oversee all production at Great Pacific, including lifestyle and factual programming, and become a senior member of a team working to develop fact-based events into scripted projects.

She is an incredible leader who builds powerful teams to produce some of Canada's highest rated factual content”, said Thunderbird Entertainment president Mark Miller, in the announcement.  “In her previous roles, Wendy has proven herself to be a collaborative and effective producer whose dedication to excellence brings out the best in everyone she works with.”
