Webb out as Bell Media shakes up specialty group

TORONTO – Personnel changes and internal restructuring continues at Bell Media with news of the immediate departure of senior vice-president of specialty programming, Joanna Webb.Webb, who joined the company last fall from Corus Entertainment, was instrumental in the re-branding of entertainment network Star! into E!, as well as tweaking the programming of specialty networks Bravo!, The Comedy Network and Space. No reason was given for her departure.According to a note to staff from Rick Brace, president of specialty channels and CTV production, a new structure for the management of Bell Media’s specialty channels will be announced next week.www.bellmedia.ca
