TORONTO – Personnel changes and internal restructuring continues at Bell Media with news of the immediate departure of senior vice-president of specialty programming, Joanna Webb.
Webb, who joined the company last fall from Corus Entertainment, was instrumental in the re-branding of entertainment network Star! into E!, as well as tweaking the programming of specialty networks Bravo!, The Comedy Network and Space. No reason was given for her departure.
According to a note to staff from Rick Brace, president of specialty channels and CTV production, a new structure for the management of Bell Media’s specialty channels will be announced next week.
