
OAKVILLE, ON – The Weather Network has updated its Connected TV app to offer new and improved features such as on-demand access to detailed and personalized weather forecasts and relevant content.
Available for Samsung, LG, Panasonic, Google TV and Amazon Fire TV users, among others, the new app also offers full screen photos with slideshow functionality; an expanded library of videos from around the world; a unique user profile to harness user data and browsing habits; new localized search capabilities plus additional languages including Italian, German and Portuguese (English, French and Spanish previously available).

First introduced in August 2013 for Samsung Smart TVs, The Weather Network Connected TV app has already achieved high engagement with both page views and visits growing over 90% year-over-year, the company said.
