Warner Bros. moves BitTorrent into mainstream with download deal


BURBANK, Calif. – Until recently, users of BitTorrent's peer to peer platform were often trading pirated copies of movies and TV shows. However, a new deal announced today, to go along with a recent agreement signed by BitTorrent and the Motion Picture Association of America to combat illegal file sharing will move the P2P service directly into the mainstream.
