TORONTO – Corus Entertainment announced Wednesday the schedule and details of W Network’s presentation of Hallmark Channel’s “Countdown to Christmas” programming event, which this year will feature its biggest holiday movie lineup with 44 new movies premiering.
An annual seasonal tradition on W Network since 2018, Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas features many of the channel’s fan-favourite stars including Brittany Bristow, Lacey Chabert, Bethany Joy Lenz, Jonathan Bennett, Nikki DeLoach and Teri Hatcher.
W Network’s schedule for the event kicks off with the premiere of Checkin’ It Twice starring Kim Matula and Kevin McGarry on Friday, Oct. 20 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, followed by Where Are You, Christmas? starring Lyndsy Fonseca, Michael Rady, Jim O’Heir and Julie Warner on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
Beginning Wednesday, Nov. 1, W Network’s full event schedule will see movie premieres every Wednesday through Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The full list of movies premiering is available here.
In the spirit of giving, W Network will be available on national free preview from Nov. 1 to Nov. 30. In addition, all 44 movie premieres and more than 150 library holiday movie titles will be available on W Network live and on-demand with Corus’s StackTV.
