Volvo and AT&T to connect cars in U.S. and Canada

DALLAS - AT&T and Volvo Cars have entered into a new multi-year agreement to enable future Volvo vehicles in the U.S. and Canada with high speed wireless connectivity the two organizations announced Wednesday.AT&T is scheduled to power Volvo's U.S. 2015 model year connected car solution with Sensus Connect, an embedded infotainment service. Volvo customers in the U.S. and Canada will also have access to Volvo On Call, a service allowing remote access to car functions and an emergency crash notification service.
