Vision TV sees ratings spike over holidays

TORONTO - Multi-faith television network VisionTV saw its highest-ever prime time ratings during its holiday-themed programming last month. Nielsen Media Research data showed that VisionTV achieved a 1.0% share of prime time audience share for the week of December 15-21 2008, and a 30-minute audience reach was a “season-high” 1.48 million. The network’s highest rated program for the week was the movie ‘A Holiday Romance’, which the network says recorded an average minute audience of 251,000 viewers. Nine other programs had an average minute audience of over 100,000 viewers, the press release said. www.visiontv.ca
