Virgin Radio launches new branded sound

TORONTO – Bell Media announced today Virgin Radio has a new sound. Orbyt Media, a Canadian content syndication group, and Wisebuddah, a UK-based producer of sonic branding, radio imaging, and jingles, partnered to launch the new station sound (which can be heard here.) “At the heart of the package is a new unified sonic identity, which will be the branding focal point for all 12 stations across the Virgin Radio network,” a press release says. “The IDs are made up of six bespoke music themes with genres ranging from Pop to Hip Hop; and all featuring a range of vocalists...
