Called Dial-A-Dis, the service is a special phone number customers can now hand out in place of their real cell phone number to any unwanted suitors (416-348-1801 to reject a woman) or 416-348-1802 to reject a man). When the unwanted Romeo or Juliet calls the Dial-A-Dis number, they will hear the voice of Jeremy letting them down gently on your behalf.
"This is the season of loving, but it’s also a time when you may find a heightened need to dodge the amorous advances of those who find you more attractive than you will ever find them," said Nathan Rosenberg, chief marketing officer, Virgin Mobile Canada. "Dial-A-Dis featuring Ron Jeremy, is the best way to get the message across that you aren’t interested without having to deal with messy excuses about washing your hair or the ‘…it’s not you – it’s me…’ conversation."
Dial-A-Dis is an exclusive service from Virgin Mobile however access is available for customers of any phone company.
