Videotron steps on the gas

MONTREAL – Videotron announced a data speed increase today so that by September 7th all residential and business subscribers will be able to get up to 7 Mbps for no extra cost. Until now the limit had been 5.1 Mbps. The company has about 730,000 Internet customers. Videotron also launched a new offer for university students in its regions. Students from HEC, UQAM, McGill and Concordia universities will be entitled to a more than 20% rebate on Vidéotron's High-Speed Internet Service.
