VICTORIAVILLE, Que. — Quebecor’s Videotron today launched a new personalized in-store offering for businesses at its retail location in Victoriaville, Que., as part of a company-wide revamp of its stores.
“Developed to provide business customers with local, personalized service at Videotron’s redesigned stores, the new spaces will be unveiled in several regions in the coming months,” reads a press release.
Currently, 36 of Videotron’s 124 retail stores have added a business counter, “with that number expected to climb to 58 by the end of 2022,” the release says.
The addition of a business counter to existing in-store services “will allow Videotron franchise partners to offer business customers customized service tailored to their every need.”
Account managers will be available “seven days a week in-store, online or even on-site to help businesses manage their mobile services or to provide new services like cloud communications and corporate networking,” the release says.
Quebecor president and CEO Pierre Karl Péladeau (above, right) was in Victoriaville this morning for the launch, along with France-Éliane Nolet (centre), Videotron vice-president, business revenues and retail network, and David Ouellette (left), franchise owner of the Victoriaville store, who has been part of the Videotron family for more than 30 years, the release explains.
“Videotron’s retail network is currently undergoing a major transformation with a renewed in-store experience, in addition to ambitious new services and products for businesses,” said Péladeau, in the press release.
“This side of the business is extremely important for us. We have long supported entrepreneurs through initiatives such as the Pierre Péladeau Bursaries and now our asterX venture capital arm. With this addition to our service offering, Videotron is better equipped than ever to meet the telecom needs of individuals and businesses.”
