Videotron opens 4Degrees data centre in Montreal

MONTREAL – Videotron cut the ribbon on its new $40 million data centre in Montreal on Tuesday.Designed specifically for data hosting, the 4,000-square-metre facility has an available load of 16 megawatts and is located in Technoparc Saint-Laurent. The centre is now connected to the Quebec City centre via the company’s fibre optic network, allowing Videotron to offer Tier III certified intraprovincial redundancy.
