MONTREAL – Videotron is cutting its rates for data roaming in the U.S., Europe and Caribbean and rolling out a new unlimited texting option for customers roaming in the U.S.
Effective immediately, data roaming charges in the U.S. have been harmonized with the Canadian rate and reduced from $0.40/MB to $0.15/MB. The company’s new unlimited texting add-on for customers travelling in the U.S. is priced at $10 per month.
In addition, European data roaming has been slashed from $1/MB to $0.60/MB while Caribbean rates have been reduced by 50% to $1/MB for data and $0.60/min for calls.
The new pricing applies to both residential and business customers.
