Videotron launches hiring blitz

MONTREAL – With 80 job openings, Quebec MSO Videotron today announced a recruiting drive to fill the customer service rep and tech rep positions.

Candidates should have relevant experience, be bilingual and be available to work evenings and weekends, says the Quebecor Media-owned cable company. Videotron will hold screening interviews by telephone during the week of May 9. Selected candidates will be asked to come to the Saint-Hubert customer contact centre for a job interview on May 14.

"Joining Videotron means becoming part of a growing, fast-changing company that provides innovative products and services and offers stimulating challenges," said Normand Vachon. Vice President, Human Resources.

"Videotron’s mission is to serve up the best possible user experience," said Robert Depatie, president and CEO of Videotron. "Day in, day out, we strive to deliver on this promise. Our customer service and technical support employees are key people in our business because they deal directly with our customers and are often the first point of contact with the company."

Videotron has two call centres in the greater Montreal area (including the largest customer contact centre on the South Shore, based in Saint-Hubert) and another in Quebec City.

Interested candidates should e-mail their resume to vlccc@videotron.com, indicating "M" on the subject line if they are seeking a position in Montreal, "SH" for Saint-Hubert, and "Q" for Quebec City.
