Videotron launches 24/7 customer support service on social media


MONTREAL – Videotron is using social media to expand its customer support services with the launch of its new bilingual support service available through Twitter and Facebook.

Customers can visit Videotron’s Facebook page or send a tweet to @videotron24_7 and get a response from a Videotron employee to their question or comment at any time of day or night.

“Social networks have become a new vehicle for delivering customer service and Videotron needed to have a presence,” said Manon Brouillette, president, consumer market, in a release. “Once again, we are pursuing a customer-driven strategy. Videotron is committed to making life easier for its customers and providing the best experience on all communication platforms and at all times. It’s another example of our focus on customers, who now enjoy extended service hours and personalized service tailored to their communication habits.”
