Videotron finalizes agreement with unionized employees

MONTREAL - Videotron said late Sunday that its unionized employees have ratified the agreement in principle that was reached over the winter between it and representatives of SEVL 2815, affiliated with the Canadian Union of Public Employees.The agreement renews the collective agreement of the approximately 2,800 employees in Western Québec until 2018, and affords the two parties greater flexibility in work organization, reads the announcement.Videotron president and CEO Manon Brouillette said that the deal also reflects the two parties’ shared desire to continue growing the company, and to maintaining its high customer satisfaction rating.“The negotiations were conducted in an atmosphere of...
