Videotron customers will see U.S. Super Bowl ads

MONTREAL – Videotron’s HD customers will get to see more than the New Orleans Saints take on the Indianapolis Colts at this year’s Super Bowl: they’ll get to watch the U.S. commercials, too.As Canadian rights holder CTV does not offer an HD signal over-the-air in Quebec, Videotron is exempt from the simultaneous substitution rules. It announced Monday that it will carry the CBS HD feed of the game uncut, including the U.S. ads.
