Videotron cancels long-distance charges for calls to Ukraine

MONTREAL – Videotron today announced it is suspending long-distance charges for calls from Canada to Ukraine effective immediately, until March 31, 2022, due to the current situation in the country. This will “allow customers to reach family and loved ones without having to worry about tolls,” a press release explains. “The charges will be automatically cancelled for all residential, business and mobile accounts. Customers do not need to contact Videotron before placing a call to Ukraine.”
