MONTREAL – Less than two weeks after buying Quebec City’s 4Degrees Colocation, Videotron Business Solutions said that it is the first ISP in the province to offer 100 Mbps Internet access for business customers in its service area.
The company said that its Internet speeds are now twice as fast as those of its closest rival, thanks to a hybrid network that contains more than 30,000 km of fibre optic cable. Videotron Business Solutions also announced that businesses with its Fibre Hybrid 60 service will automatically be upgraded to Fibre Hybrid 100, at no extra cost.
"Adding a new data centre in Quebec City and enhancing Internet access services for business customers are just two more ways in which Videotron is deepening its longstanding relationship with the approximately 115,000 companies that place their trust in its innovative business solutions day after day”, said president Jean Novak, in the news release.
