
MONTREAL – Vice Media and Montreal’s Groupe V Media announced Wednesday a new multifaceted partnership for French Canada.
According to the press release, that will include the launch of TV channel Viceland in French Canada as well as the creation of a television studio, the development of French Canadian versions of Vice's digital channels and the creation of an entity specializing in content marketing as well as the development of international distribution agreements.

By partnering with Vice, well-known for its reach of Millennials throughout the globe with exclusive content on various platforms, we have just clearly confirmed our ambitions" said Maxime Rémillard, president and CEO of Groupe V Media, in the press release.
"This target group, much sought after by advertisers, is also totally complementary to the target groups reached by the other brands at Groupe V Media. We could therefore develop exceptional business opportunities and significantly grow our activities" he added. Groupe V is best known in Quebec for its conventional broadcast station V Télé. as well as specialty networks MusiquePlus and MusiMax and digital platforms including 25Stanley blog.
