Vice expands into French-language content creation

TORONTO – Youth media company Vice Canada is establishing Vice Quebec in a move designed to increase its French language content.

Speaking Tuesday at its inaugural ‘NewFront’ presentation, Vice Canada GM Nina Sudra announced Delphine Poux as the new GM of Vice QC, who will lead the expansion of Vice Quebec’s team "to fill the gap in media dedicated to Quebec’s youth audience".

The company also announced that Vice Media will launch six new digital channels dedicated to health, gaming, travel, LGBTQ and money, and that it is bringing its brand strategy agency arm Virtue to Canada to function as Vice Canada’s in-house creative services division.
