MacDonald will take on his new responsibilities starting June 17.  Having worked as a sales executive and manager with Rogers Communications in Atlantic Canada for the past 10 years, he has a deep understanding of the telecommunications industry and its dynamics, the announcement continued.  He holds an MBA from the University of New Brunswick.

“I am certain that Linda Vennard and Christopher MacDonald’s knowledge and expertise will be of great value to the Commission as we continue to advance our mission of ensuring that Canadians—as citizens, creators and consumers—have access to a world-class communication system”, Blais wrote.
