Vecima to help US wireless cableco reclaim analog bandwidth

VICTORIA – Portable equipment supplier Vecima Networks has signed a multi-year engineering, supply and maintenance deal with an unnamed U.S. wireless cableco. The deal includes Vecima supplying a product aimed at reclaiming analog bandwidth, including in multiple dwelling units. Details of the product were not released by Vecima.Verima said the engineering portion of the deal is valued at $2 million to $3 million.
