VICTORIA – Vecima Networks has signed a supply agreement with an unnamed major cable operator to support its all-digital conversion across the U.S.

The company said Tuesday that the supply agreement covers its Terrace product line which is used to provide a bulk video offering in the commercial premise after the all-digital conversion.  Vecima added that the Terrace product line has been well received and endorsed by operators because of its ability to provide high quality video service in both a scalable and reliable package.

"We are very excited to finalize another supply agreement with one of the largest cable MSOs in North America," said president and CEO Sumit Kumar, in the announcement. "To date, Vecima has sold approximately $7 million of Terrace family products to this customer representing the early stage requirements related to their all-digital conversion. The majority of the network remains to be converted at this operator and Vecima has received a substantial order for delivery in the first quarter of calendar 2015. Our team remains steadfast in securing agreements for platforms that support MSOs globally."

Based in Victoria, Vecima Networks Inc. designs, manufactures and sells products that enable broadband access to cable, wireless and telephony networks.
