VICTORIA – Manufacturer and cable operator Vecima reported a 39% year over year increase in total revenue to $36.8 million in the first quarter of fiscal 2009, the company reported this week. Consumer appetite for bandwidth and digital video streaming resulted in increased demand for infrastructure products to support digital television and data-over-cable services, the press release said.
