LOS ANGELES – Canadian adult broadcaster Sex-Shop Television Inc. will rebrand its Vanessa TV service as VividTV in a new partnership venture with the multichannel television division of Vivid Entertainment, the companies announced Monday.
Vivid boasts the largest film archive of any single adult studio and has become known for its widely publicized celebrity sex tape movies starring such names as Kim Kardashian, Kendra Wilkinson, Montana Fishburne, Tila Tequila and many others. Other popular titles from Vivid include parodies of comic superheroes, dramas and series such as Brand New Faces and 100 % Real Swingers.
Sex-Shop Television CEO Anne-Marie Losique will head the channel, which will offer programming in both French and English.
"In collaboration with Vivid Entertainment, we will be able to offer what will be unquestionably the broadest and highest quality adult viewing packages in Canada," said Losique, in the news release. "This is an exciting new venture for our company. Our viewers will get the best of both worlds."
The change is effective October 28, 2014.
