
VANCOUVER – Vancouver’s Roundhouse Radio 98/3 has overhauled its daytime programming with the addition of two new veteran hosts.
Eugene (Gene) Valaitis is the new morning show host while Jody Vance has been named as the station’s new midday host.
Valaitis is an award winning Canadian broadcaster/performer who may be best known to radio listeners for his work at Toronto’s CFRB, CKEY and Q107 FM. The Morning Show With Gene Valaitis will debut September 18 and air weekdays from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
Vance has had her own national sports program, been a news anchor, host of Breakfast Television, and most recently talked up news and current affairs at Vancouver’s News Talk 980 CKNW. Midday With Jody Vance will begin September 25 and air weekdays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Roundhouse Radio 98/3 bills itself as a commercial station with a community focus, serving the needs of the people who live, work and play in the City of Vancouver through public debate, storytelling, live music, local arts, community events, news and features focused on the City's neighbourhoods and cultures.
