Vancouver station rallies support for earthquake victims

VANCOUVER - Multicultural radio station CHMB AM 1320 has raised closed to $1 million dollars for the Chinese Sichuan earthquake victims. As most will recall, the massive earthquake hit Sichuan Province on May 12th, causing widespread damage and loss of life. The death toll is still rising while a further hundreds of thousands of people are homeless or otherwise affected by this natural disaster. Thousands of homes were destroyed and people are now living in temporary shelters, such as tents.
