Usage-based pricing of broadband not harmful to customers – study

WASHINGTON, DC - A new study debunks some of the common myths about Internet usage-based pricing (UBP) models and finds that in fact well-designed UBP plans on consumers are likely to be beneficial. This according to Steven Wildman, Michigan State University Professor of Information Studies who was presenting his research findings at an NCTA Connects event titled The Evolving Internet: Patterns in Usage and Pricing.
