REGINA – SaskTel subsidiary DirectWest has overhauled its local search website Mysask411.com to better meet the evolving and unique digital search needs of Saskatchewan’s consumers.

With content-rich features that facilitate the local shopping experience, Mysask411 enables users to make local choices with the most up-to-date listings of Saskatchewan businesses plus content such as: “Hours of Operation”, “Brands Offered”, “Methods of Payment”, “Most Recommended Business by Users” and “Driving Directions”.  The site also provides additional local information like “Weather Forecasts”, “Movie Listings”, and “Airport Arrivals and Departures”.

“Consumer Search is a key focus for DirectWest as we grow our Mysask411 online and mobile platforms.  The Mysask411.com transformation is critical not only to meet the evolving needs of Saskatchewan users, but also to provide a platform that our local advertisers are excited to be a part of,” said Georgina Syrgiannis, VP of corporate marketing, in the news release.  “This launch marks the first phase of many by establishing foundational elements that are necessary to continue to build more advanced features and functionalities down the road.”

The new Mysask411.com is optimized for viewing on mobile devices to allow users to quickly and easily search and find local information.
