
REGINA – SaskTel subsidiary DirectWest has unveiled the new Mysask411 mobile app in order to meet the constantly evolving and unique mobile search needs of Saskatchewan’s consumers.
The new Mysask411 app helps locals and visitors search Saskatchewan smarter by providing accurate local results and a variety of community information ranging from business listings, to movie times, menus, weather and deals. The app also offers features specifically designed to assist mobile shopper’s on-the-go, such as driving directions, one touch dialing, quick browse popular search categories and the ability to share favourite contacts via Facebook, Twitter, or email accounts.
“Enhancing the consumer search functionality is a key focus for DirectWest as we continue to develop our Mysask411 digital platforms to meet our user’s constantly evolving search habits,” said DirectWest president Gord Farmer, in the news release. “The enhanced design and functionality of the Mysask411 app in coordination with the redesigned mysask411.com represented critical steps we needed to take to ensure we are meeting the evolving needs of Saskatchewan users, but also to provide a platform that local advertisers are excited to be a part of.”
The new Mysask411 app is available for free by visiting the iOS and Android app stores.
