TORONTO – Bell Media made the first round of cuts to its Toronto television operations Wednesday, less than a month after announcing that it intended to eliminate up to 120 positions this summer due to “financial pressure” related to advertising and subscription challenges across its TV services.A company spokesperson confirmed to Cartt.ca that 91 positions were eliminated in its in-house production division, comprising of 72 union positions and 19 non-union positions.
