TORONTO – Close to 5.5 million Canadians tuned in to CBC’s coverage of the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games’ opening ceremony on July 10, which was highlighted by a performance by Canada’s own Cirque du Soleil.A combined average audience of 1.93 million viewers (2+) watched Friday’s opening ceremony on CBC-TV and CBC News Network.
