Unrelated video should not have aired, says CBSC

OTTAWA – An unrelated video segment aired by TVA as part of a news story on autism should not have aired, says the Canadian Broadcast Standards Council. This past February, Public affairs program Dans la mire broadcast a segment on autism. However, people who appeared in a video clip in the segment complained to the CBSC that the use of the clip had left the impression that they were autistic when in fact they were not.
