TORONTO — Blue Ant Media announced today the British competitive jewelry making series All That Glitters will have its Canadian broadcast premiere on Makeful TV on Monday, Oct. 18 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
The series is hosted by London-based Canadian comedian and actress Katherine Ryan (above, centre) alongside two judges – esteemed jewelry designers Solange Azagury-Partridge (left) and Shaun Leane (right).
All That Glitters “follows eight talented, aspiring jewellers as they compete inside a magical workshop to demonstrate they have what it takes to shine in the dazzling world of jewelry design,” reads a series description in a press release.
“Each week the up-and-coming jewellers will compete head-to-head in two challenges exploring wildly diverse styles and aesthetics while working with raw materials that are amongst the most valuable on earth: gold, silver, diamonds and sapphires, to create beautiful bestselling pieces and bespoke works of art for real people,” the release says.
One aspiring contestant will leave the competition at the end of each episode “until one brilliant jeweller is left to take home the title of Britain’s Next Jewelry Star.”
All That Glitters was produced by Twenty Twenty Television for BBC Two.
