Two more Nova Scotia communities get broadband funding

DIGBY, N.S. – The communities of Little River and East Ferry, N.S. will soon see $173,700 invested in the region to deliver new or improved broadband.While $129,525 is coming from the Government of Canada's Connect to Innovate program, Bell Canada is contributing $44,175 for the project to the two southwestern N.S. communities of about 200 residents nestled on Digby Neck, a thin peninsula between St. Mary’s Bay and the Bay of Fundy. Minister of Rural Economic Development Bernadette Jordan made the announcement today.
