TORONTO – Twitter Canada is making it easier for Canadians to follow events from the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games.
Live streams from Para alpine, Para ice hockey, Para nordic, Para snowboard, and wheelchair curling, as well as a daily Canadian recap show from CBC, will be available exclusively to Twitter users in Canada.
In addition, Canada can visit greatnessisrare.ca to sign up to become a broadcaster of the Paralympic Games on their Twitter or Facebook account. Users can choose the events they wish to share and their selections will automatically appear in their feeds as a Twitter Live or Facebook Live video, broadcasting the events to their friends and followers.
The ‘Be a Broadcaster’ feature is part of the Canadian Paralympic Committee's Greatness is Rare campaign, encouraging all people across Canada to witness the talents of the country's Paralympians on their quest for gold.
Canada is represented by 55 athletes at the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games, which will take place from March 9 – 18.
