TVO goes public with programming archives

TORONTO – TVO has opened its programming archives to the public via a free on-line resource showcasing four decades of made-at-TVO educational programming.The centerpiece of TVO’s 40th anniversary celebrations, Public Archive contains such gems as:- popular Saturday Night at the Movies host Elwy Yost’s conversations with film legends of the 70s and 80s;- interviews with political leaders including every Ontario Premier since John Robarts;- episodes of programs like Polka Dot Door, Today’s Special, Prisoners of Gravity, Imprint, Realities, and Studio 2; plus- a new podcast series called Think Again where programs are re-cut and re-mixed, examining important issues and placing them in...
