TVO debuts free on demand app for Google TV

TORONTO – TVO is launching a free Android app for Google TV this week. The app in addition to a Google TV set top device will allow viewers to stream TVO programs over the Internet directly onto their television. The educational broadcaster said that it would also launch the Sony Internet Player with Google TV, the first device of its kind in the Canadian market.
