TVA Group’s France Lauzière taking time off for family reasons

MONTREAL — TVA Group announced today its president and CEO France Lauzière (above) is stepping back from her duties for a period of up to six months for family reasons, starting today. Lauziere is also chief content officer of Quebecor Content. The announcement made by TVA Group chairperson Sylvie Lalande says Pierre Karl Péladeau, president and CEO of parent company Quebecor, will assume Lauzière’s duties at TVA Group and Quebecor Content during her absence, on an acting basis. “The Corporation understands Ms. Lauzière’s decision and fully supports her at this time,” reads the release.
