TVA appoints Régine Laurent to its board

MONTREAL – TVA Group Inc. announced today it has appointed Régine Laurent (above) to its board of directors, effective immediately. Laurent worked in health care for more than three decades before becoming president of the union Fédération interprofessionnelle de la santé du Québec. She retired from that role in 2017 and in 2018 became a commentator on the show La Joute on TVA and LCN. She returned to that role this past September on the TVA Nouvelles team, according to the press release.
