AS SUMMER draws to a close, the conventional TV networks are cranking up their PR machines in support of their new and returning shows.
Global is premiering the musical comedy Glee on September 9 which will be immediately followed by the re-make of Melrose Place. Survivor: Samoa debuts on September 17, House returns with a 2-hour premier on September 21,and The Good Wife begins on September 22.
Global’s animated line-up, (The Simpsons, American Dad, Family Guy and new series The Cleveland Show), will start on September 27, while Lie To Me rounds out premiere month on September 28. Click here for the full schedule.
‘A’ Channel is banking on new series The Beautiful Life (debuting September 16), Eastwick (starting September 23) and Flashforward, based on the novel by Canadian author Robert J. Sawyer, which kicks off September 24. Returning shows such as Gossip Girl, Law and Order, and Private Practice debut on September 14, September 25 and October 1, respectively. New shows over at CTV include The Vampire Diaries beginning on September 10 starring Canadian actor Nina Dobrev, and The Dr. Oz Show on September 14 hosted by best-selling author and medical authority Dr. Mehmet C. Oz.
