TORONTO – Sports fans have a new way to watch TSN and RDS after the services announced a $4.99 single-day streaming subscription option.

Day Pass provides access to the channels' OTT streaming services TSN Direct and RDS Direct for 24 hours with no contract.  Viewers can tune in on their computers, tablets, mobile devices, or Apple TV, and TSN Direct is also available on Samsung SmartTV and Xbox One.

While the exact launch date for Day Pass has not yet been confirmed, Friday’s news release said that it will available in time for the networks’ coverage of NCAA March Madness.

TSN Direct and RDS Direct are also available for a monthly subscription of $24.99 a month. TSN Direct features access to TSN’s five feeds, on-demand content, and exclusive bonus streams, while RDS Direct delivers French-language content from RDS, RDS2, and RDS INFO.

“We’re very excited to expand our viewing options for Canadian sports fans by providing single-day access to the country’s most-watched sports channels,” said Stewart Johnston, president of media sales, marketing, and TSN, in the release. “Our viewers have asked for more options when it comes to accessing high-quality streaming coverage of the biggest moments in sports, and we’re proud to deliver that with Canada’s first single-day subscription.”

“The single-day pass option for RDS Direct puts the largest portfolio of exclusive French-language sports properties in the palm of fans’ hands,” added Bell Media Quebec president Karine Moses.  “We’re pleased to give viewers greater access to our French-language sports coverage in Québec, reaching a larger audience and providing more choice than ever before.”
