TSN, RDS announce 10-year extension for Hockey Canada broadcast rights

TORONTO – Sports specialty channels TSN and RDS announced today they have reached a new 10-year broadcast rights extension agreement with Hockey Canada beginning in 2014. With the deal, TSN and RDS retain multi-platform rights to all Hockey Canada events including the IIHF World Junior Championships. In related news, Hockey Canada also announced today that the 2015 and 2017 IIHF World Junior Championships will both be co-hosted by Toronto and Montreal, for which TSN and RDS will have broadcast rights.
